Terms of Service

The agreement between you and EzStaw when you open a shop: what you may sell, what you pay, and how we hold and release your money.

Last updated 21 July 2026 · Version 2

EzStaw is run by PeekTower Limited, a company registered in Sierra Leone. These terms are the agreement between us and you when you open a shop on EzStaw.

They are written in plain English on purpose. Each section starts with a one-line summary of what it means. The summary is there to help you read faster, not to replace the section under it.

1. Who we are and who you are

What this means: we run the platform. You run your shop. Two different jobs.

EzStaw is an online platform. We give you the software to build a shop, list what you sell, take mobile-money payments, and manage orders. We do not buy or sell your goods, and we are not a party to the sale between you and your customer.

You are the seller. You own the goods, you set the prices, and when you promise a customer something, you are the one who has to deliver it.

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean PeekTower Limited trading as EzStaw. "You" means the person or business with an EzStaw account.

PeekTower Company Limited is a company registered in Sierra Leone under company registration number SL260922PEEKT15470.

2. Opening an account

What this means: you must be old enough, the details you give us must be true, and your login is yours to protect.

To open an account you must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract under Sierra Leonean law. If you sign up for a business, you are confirming you have authority to bind that business.

Give us accurate details and keep them current. We rely on your name, phone number and email to reach you about orders, payouts and problems with your account.

Your password and your access to the phone number on the account are your responsibility. Anything done through your login counts as done by you. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got in.

You can add staff to your shop on the paid plans. Staff act on your behalf, and you stay responsible for what they do.

3. What you may sell

What this means: legal goods you are allowed to sell, described honestly. Some things are banned outright.

You may only list goods and services you are legally allowed to sell in Sierra Leone, and you must hold any licence the law requires for them.

You may not use EzStaw to sell:

  • weapons, ammunition, or explosives
  • drugs controlled by law, and equipment intended for taking them
  • prescription medicines, and any medicine you are not licensed to sell
  • counterfeit goods, or anything that copies someone else's brand without permission
  • stolen goods, or goods you cannot prove you have the right to sell
  • live animals, human remains, or human tissue
  • sexual services, or sexual material involving anyone under 18
  • currency, gift cards, financial instruments, and anything designed to move money outside our payment system
  • anything that is a crime to sell in Sierra Leone

Your listings must describe the real item. Do not use photos of goods you do not have, invent stock you cannot ship, or promise delivery times you cannot meet. Reviews on your shop must come from real buyers, and you may not write them or pay for them.

We check listings, and we act on reports from shoppers. If a listing breaks this section we can remove it. If it keeps happening we can suspend the shop.

4. Plans, fees, and trials

What this means: you pay a monthly plan fee plus a percentage of each completed order. The percentage depends on your plan.

Our current plans and prices are on the pricing page at ezstaw.com/pricing. In summary:

PlanMonthlyTransaction fee
LaunchFree5%
StarterLe 1993.5%
GrowthLe 4992.5%
ProLe 9991.5%
EnterpriseBy agreementNegotiated

The transaction fee is taken when an order completes and the money is released to you. It comes out of the order total, so you receive the rest. Nothing is charged on an order that is refunded or never delivered.

Paid plans start with a 15-day free trial. We do not charge you during the trial, and you can cancel before it ends without paying anything. After that, plan fees are billed in advance for the period you chose.

Plan fees are not refundable for time you have already been billed for, except where the law says otherwise. If you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. This is separate from refunds on customer orders, which are covered by the Refund and Escrow Policy.

We can change prices. If a change affects what you pay, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your account, and you can cancel before it does.

If a plan payment fails, we will retry it and email you. If it stays unpaid, the shop is suspended until it is settled. Your data is not deleted when this happens.

5. How we hold and release your money

What this means: we hold the customer's payment until the order is delivered, then we pay you the balance after our fee.

When a customer pays for an order, the money goes into an escrow account. It does not go into your balance yet, and you cannot spend it.

We release it when the order is confirmed delivered. Delivery is confirmed with a one-time code the customer gives on handover. At that point we take the transaction fee for your plan and send the rest to your payout account.

Two things will stop a payout reaching you:

  • You have not completed identity verification. We hold the money and release it once you are verified. It is not lost, but we cannot pay it out before we know who we are paying.
  • The order is refunded before it is delivered. The money goes back to the customer and no fee is charged.

The full lifecycle, including disputes and partial refunds, is in the Refund and Escrow Policy.

Where an order has been paid for but delivery has not been confirmed and no dispute has been opened, the payment will remain securely held in escrow. Either the seller or the customer may contact EzStaw Support and request a review of the order.

We may ask both parties to provide information or evidence relating to delivery. We will release the payment to the seller only where delivery is confirmed or where the available evidence reasonably shows that the order was delivered. If delivery cannot be confirmed, we may cancel the order and refund the customer.

There is currently no automatic release of funds solely because a specified period has passed.

6. Identity verification

What this means: we have to know who you are before we can send you money.

Before your first payout we ask you to verify your identity and, for a registered business, the business. We ask for identity documents and the details of the mobile-money account you want to be paid into.

We do this because we move money, and the rules that apply to moving money in Sierra Leone require it. We may ask again later if something on the account changes.

Your documents are stored privately. Only staff who need to review them can see them, and they are deleted when you close your account. The Privacy Policy has the detail.

If you do not verify, you can still build a shop and take orders. You will not be able to withdraw what those orders earn.

7. AI features

What this means: the AI writes drafts. Check them before you publish. What it writes for you is yours.

Some features use AI: building a store from a description, writing product titles and descriptions, designing a theme, importing a catalogue, and answering questions about your own sales data. Each plan comes with a number of AI credits, and an action spends one.

What the AI produces is a draft. It can be wrong, it can be generic, and it does not know things it was not told. Read it before it goes on your shop. You are responsible for what your shop says, including the parts a machine wrote.

Content the AI generates for your shop is yours to use. We do not claim it.

Do not use the AI features to produce anything that would break section 3, and do not feed them someone else's confidential information.

Unused AI credits do not roll over to the next month.

8. Your content and your shop

What this means: your product photos and text stay yours. You give us permission to display them.

Everything you upload stays yours. By uploading it you give us permission to store it, resize it and show it, which is what running your shop involves. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your shop, except where we have to keep a copy for the records described in the Privacy Policy.

Upload only what you have the right to upload. If you use a photo you did not take or copy text from another shop, that is on you, and we will act on a complaint from whoever owns it.

The EzStaw platform, brand and software stay ours.

9. Your customers are your responsibility

What this means: you owe your customers the sale. We give you the tools, not the guarantee.

The contract for each sale is between you and your customer. You are the one who has to deliver the goods, describe them accurately, honour your own returns terms, and answer when something goes wrong.

You need your own store policies for returns, delivery and privacy. If you have not written them, your shop falls back to the platform defaults, which are a starting point rather than a substitute for policies that describe how your business actually works.

If a customer's data passes through your shop, you are responsible for handling it properly. See the Privacy Policy for how we split that responsibility.

10. Suspending or closing an account

What this means: you can leave whenever you want. We can suspend a shop that breaks these terms.

You can close your shop or delete your account at any time. How to do it, and what happens to your data afterwards, is at ezstaw.com/legal/delete-account.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used for fraud, or that we are required to act on by law or by our payment providers. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first. For fraud and for anything illegal, we act first.

If we suspend your shop, money already held in escrow for delivered orders still belongs to you, and we will release it to you once we can. Money held for undelivered orders goes back to the customers who paid it.

11. What we do not promise

What this means: the platform will sometimes be down, and we are not liable for the sales you miss while it is.

We give you the platform as it is. We do not promise it will be free of faults or available without interruption. We take it down for maintenance, our providers have outages, and mobile-money networks fail in ways nobody on our side can prevent.

We are not responsible for the profits you did not make, the sales you did not get, or the business you lost while something was broken. Where we are liable to you for something, our liability for any claim is limited to the plan fees you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability the law does not allow us to limit.

We are not responsible for goods you sell, or for a dispute between you and your customer, beyond what the Refund and Escrow Policy sets out.

12. Changes to these terms

What this means: we will tell you before anything important changes.

We update these terms as the product changes. For anything that meaningfully affects your rights or what you pay, we will email the address on your account at least 30 days before it takes effect.

Carrying on using EzStaw after a change takes effect means you accept it. If you do not, close the account.

The version and date at the top of this page tell you which text you are reading.

13. Law and disputes

What this means: Sierra Leonean law applies. Talk to us first.

These terms are governed by the law of Sierra Leone, and the courts of Sierra Leone have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

If you have a problem, email us before you go anywhere else. Most things are a misunderstanding about an order or a payout, and most get sorted the same week.

Before starting legal proceedings against us, you must first contact us and provide details of the dispute, including any relevant order numbers, payment references and supporting evidence.

We will acknowledge the complaint within five business days and will aim to investigate and respond within fourteen business days. More complex disputes may take longer, but we will keep you informed of the progress.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through our internal complaints process, the parties may agree to use mediation or another form of alternative dispute resolution. Arbitration is not mandatory unless the parties separately agree to it in writing.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from bringing proceedings before a court of competent jurisdiction in Sierra Leone.
